How do I join

The bylaws of Fire Divers International state that Fire Diving is open to all free divers, certified divers and ex-military divers, regardless of age, sex or national origin.

To join a local Fire Diving Team either contact your local dive shop, you may have to be persistent, the dive stores are often reluctant to admit their affiliation to a Fire Diving Team or contact the team itself at any Fire Diving Event.

In the Los Angeles area, the Topanga Topographic Trouncers (aka "the Triple T's"). They are sponsored by West Coast Diver's Supply in Van Nuys after their old sponsor, ScubaDuba, went out of business earlier this year due to problems with club liability insurance.
